    YLT play May 5th in the Ambassador... tickets at €27.50.
    Mogwai play 5 days later in The Village, tickets are €20.

    two brill acts and sure to be two great gigs, not to be missed...

    oh and a reminder that Beth Gibbons & Rustin Man are in the Ambassador in less than two weeks time (Wed 26th), if ye aint gotta ticket yet, hurry up, will be a great evening of laid back music (tickets €25).

    now hopefully The Polyphonic Spree will add an irish date to their UK tour and all will be happy in my life.

    Ken, very nearly broke from all these MCD gigs.

    **** me! yo la tengo!! i've never seen them before, should be a fun gig. just saw Low in the ambassador, and the sound wasn't half bad, so it shouldn't be too bad. although the price for tickets is just shocking. but oh well ...

    i too would like to know where the village is...

    The Village is bang next door to Whelans, where the old Mean Fiddler was.

    yo la tengo - seen 'em twice - both times absolutely amazing.
    mogwai are more hit and miss but when they get it right it's well worth it. bring ear plugs though.
