Whats going on the BBC had the rights the last I knew, having shown matches in all the previous rounds.
How can the rights just slip away to another channel?

(yes I know not being able to watch will proberly spare me 90+ mins of agony, but still...)

aren't UEFA Cup rights sorted out for each round. ie. just because BBC show one round doesn't mean five can't come in a rob them for the next round. who's to say RTÉ wont show it

five is broadcasting on the UHF band from the Dunmore East direction. that direction from my house anyway

Yeah, didnt realise Cisse was suspended til just before the game started.
Seen the highlights on Eurosport there, great finish by big Sami.

Pity we needed a Defender to go up front and score a Strikers Goal

C5 had a great system of determining offside last night.
Every part of the field from the last defender back was shaded in.
whatever player was in the zone from the opposite team it was clearer to see if they were offside.

sadly no technology is going to be any use for linesmen but great for viewers though.

C5 had some pretty dodgy camera angles during the match though didn't they. That was indeed quite a nifty way of seein who was offside.

Personally, i thought the game was intensely boring, but a good goal from Sami.

Realistically Liverpool should beat Celtic but the way they're playing currently , I dunno ....

Liverpool will go through. It looks like we have remembered how to defend so with a goal or 2 at Anfield we shouldn't have too many problems.
Is Cissé back for the return leg?

I realised watching the highlights last night that I had bought 3 of Auxerres players ages and ages ago in Champ Manager...funny that.

I did'nt see the game so when I saw on text that Hyypia had scored I assumed it was from a corner. So what the hell was a defender doing latching onto a pass from a midfield player (Murphy)? Were Owen and Heskey on the pitch?!
