winXP and openGL

    i just completed an fdisk on my machine and installed xp instead of win2k.

    MY Geforce256 ran openGL fine with v-sync off but XP seems to flicker and the models appear on and off on the screen. If vsync is on it runs smooth and normal, i only get this problem when its off.

    Any ideas? Ive tried everything i can think of.

    reinstalling different drivers over and over. Detonator destryoers the works! but nothing works! :/
