Anyone notice how many Calories are in a single Digestive?? I could not believe it!! We got a packet for the first time in ages and i took a look to see and there are 73 calories per biscuit!!!! What the fudge????

There are chocolate biscuits in my press that are barely over 50 and these are plain Digestives!!!

I found that pretty strange thats all!

They probably have to up the sugar content to make it more palatable to sweet teeth. That and up the fat content, butter amount, whatever. Dunno though, just guessing.

Yeah i know but it just sort of shocked me.. think about it.. Some diabetics will eat plain biscuits like rich tea every now and again.. But if Digestives are packed full of sugar it could be dangerous.

    Ah well...
