trying to make crossover cable

right this is what i understand cable 1 2 3 and 6 is all that is needed on jack 1 1 2 3 x4 x5 6 x7 x8all in normal places then jack 2 3 6 1 x4 x5 2 x7 x8 x denotes not used am i correct in this? its starting to do my head in as the cable works fine as straight through so im guessing that there is no break in the line both…

I was going to make some about 2 weeks ago then i went to B and Q and bought 5mt for €3

Had extensions as well to make it really long.
