Just got a message from my contact in Konami after I told him to give out to his boss about suikoden 3 not being released in europe. It seems that Konami Great Britain want the game to come out in europe but the Konami Japan think that the cost of translating the game into 5 languages and the PAL conversion will be more…

Just got a message from my contact in Konami after I told him to give out to his boss about suikoden 3 not being released in europe. It seems that Konami Great Britain want the game to come out in europe but the Konami Japan think that the cost of translating the game into 5 languages and the PAL conversion will be more than what they will get back from the game.

Any way the future of this game in europeis quite bleak. Off to the importers then.

christ they have an english translation already and pal conversions can be done with a simple action replay code.

they will translate ephemeral fantasia but not suikoden 3. with business acumen like that they could get a job as head of gamecube marketing with nintendo europe.
