Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hard one to call really but I'll go for the following starting 11.

    Packie Bonner

    Denis Irwin
    Paul McGrath
    Jackie Carey

    Liam Brady
    Roy Keane

    Frank Stapelton

    Subs:
    Shay Given
    Mick McCarthy
    Kevin Sheedy
    Niall Quinn
    Don Givens
    Chris Hughton

Bit of a mixture there really.

Edited: Meant to have Liam Brady on the wing playing a 3-5-2 formation

    Packie Bonner

    Chris Morris
    Mick McCarthy
    Kevin Moran
    Chris Hughton

    Tony Galvin
    Ronnie Whelan
    Paul McGrath
    Ray Houghton

    Frank Stapleton
    John Aldridge

took to the field together on May 12th 1988, Neckar Stadion, Stuttgart.
(look at that midfield!!! If it were today Real Madrid couldn't afford them)

For a team of all the ages: as above with McGrath playing in the back four with Dave Langan, Mark Lawrenson and Dennis Irwin. Put Liam Brady and Roy Keane into Midfield in place of Galvin and McGrath and replace Aldridge with Robbie Keane.

    Subs:
    Shay Given
    Jack Carey
    David O'Leary
    Johnny Giles
    Gerry Daly
    Steve Heighway
    Niall Quinn
