Jews were the original terrorists and aggressors which of course does not justify Arab terrorism but offers some perspective

Original Terrorists, yes. Original Aggressors, i disagree.
was only after the creation of the state through Zionist terrorism and the ethnic cleansing of the land that the Arabs began revolting against their oppression

Revolting against their oppression? You have got to be joking. before the creation of Israel, the land was under british mandate. And when the British left, the land was split into Jewish, and Palestinian states.

But i agree, that Zionist Terrorism was an issue, just as the arming of the Arabs was also an issue.
I wish people who make comments on such things would research the history a bit better.

well since the majority of "history" on this subject, is biased one way or another theres never going to be much agreement.

What i love is that people always say that its totally Israels fault,
but it was the Arabs that first invaded Israel, upon its creation.

Saint, what i said isn't wrong. Palestinian forces did attack Israel first. Yes, there were Zionist Terrorism, just as the Arab nations had been arming themselves for the war, for years. And while under the british Mandate, there was peace for the jews/palestinians for a while, it didn't last too long, once the idea of an israeli state was introduced.

So terrorism does not aquate to aggression? ZZionists were attacking the Brits before there was an Israeli state or arab aggression.

The Brits left due to Zionist aggression. The land was split into a Jewish state and the Palestinians never got their state and millions of Arabs were removed from the new Israeli state which was their home.

I never said what happens now is all Israels fault.

It lasted for hundreds of years until the foundation of the Israeli state and the etnic cleansing of the Arabs from the homes.

I think Eouhghan Harris is a very good writer on this topic. That Irish Socialists only see the Palestinian side of this conflict. I think the Palestinians need a leader who is willing to sit down with Israel and come to some agreement.

At the end of the day, Palestinians and Israelis must live side by side.

But the whole Palestinian suicide bombers thing has made me very nuetral with regards this conflict.

Saint, tell me this. If the Israeli-Arab wars had gone against Israel, do you really believe that the Arabs would have treated the Jews any better?

I don't think the Israeli's are without fault. But i don't think they're totally to blame for the situation in Palestine.

Probobly not after the way the Palestinians were treated by the settlers.

    Nor do I.
