Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Howyis. I tried to delete this thread on the Programming board (I solved the problem), and it said I didn't have the privileges

    Thats right, you cant delete the post once others have replied to it (cos you'd be deleting them too and thats a no-no).

    You can however edit the post.

    Why would you want to? Maybe others have the same problem you have and will want to see the replies.... why not post the answer you have discovered for others to see?

    Cos I'm a mean-spirited bastard, only out for my own gains! :p No, it was actually because I broke the golden rule and didn't bother to consult java.sun.com (where I found the answer) before posting :)

    Does this apply only to the Programming board and this board, or all across boards.ie now?
