    Stock market and Munster Council members don't really go together. they'd be more at home in a cattle mart. my guess is they invested in élan. doh! cad a cheapann sibh?

    munster council decided to try their collective hand at the stock market. trouble is they managed to lose €250,000!!!

    Had not heard that, but it is not really a good time to be dabbling in the stock market. Would not be against it in principal, but when company values are decreasing hand over fist is not the best time to try it out. Be interested to see who their advisors were.

    Poor GAA cant win, they put their faith in the Gov and end up €70m in debt, and then try the stock market and lose another €.25m. Ah well a few dubs matches in Croker this summer will help them. Maybe now the Hill will have to stay a bit longer too.
