    when you are doing up the new front page, can you add a link that will direct you to a completely random thread, and which changes every half an hour or so.

    surely, technically, it could take you to a different thread every time you click it by generating a url with a random thread-ID between 1 and whatever the latest one is and then redirecting to it?

    Always liked the Random Yahoo Link meself...

    If this was done, the lower limit would not be 1.

    Some condition making sure that it is a real active thread would probably work. (Otherwise, old threads about France winning the world cup or whatever would be frequently dragged up).

    actually, if you stuck it in everyones subbed menu, it would be even better :)
    you should also put any messages from the admins in the subbed menu too. that way, some of us would actually bother reading them :)
