Playing QW over LAN

    Erm,
    How do yah play QuakeWorld over a LAN (any CT guys out there)? Yah can't connect via the multiplayer menu and the "connect localhost" doesn't work. So could someone please tell me how?

    Hi Mick -

    You need to get qwsv.exe from
    www.quakeworld.net and run it
    on one of the LAN PCs.

    I ain't stupid, I run the damn quake.ie help section, i know you need the server patch, i have it but how do I join a LAN game? Do I need the IP address of the server PC? Or can i get a server list somehow?

    Tanks for the help...

    Oh sorry I thought you were the guy in Incarnate
    with the "I am stupid" t-shirt :-P

    Type status on the server, connect to that ip.
