These files are now available from the links on the main
    http://www.quake.ie/ page.

The quake.ie Q2 servers will be running these new
patches as soon as the linux ports are released.

And the dm levels look pretty darn cool!

    Type:

    map q2dmX

    where X is between 1 and 8.

The CTF ain't half bad either :-) Nice
    rune-circle thingys.

Looks like it could be a while before the
Linux version is out, will let you know
as soon as we have the servers going.

    Cloud!

Is the links FTP or HTTP ? If they are HTTP and people are using the latest version of Netscape or IE they can d/l it in portions. The browsers have a recover mode to finish off D/L'ing where you left off in the event of a crash/disconnection.

Plus it might stop all these people whining about how big it is :) (u's prolly stay on long enough a night to d/l it twice).

    Just thought I'd let u's know :)
