Its a fu*king desgrace. Im waiting too. Its just another example of how corruption and our politicians half arsed attitude when they set up the state biting us in the ass now. When are they going to sink this country?

I just did my test yesterday, it went perfect, had no faults at all.

I did my test on monday in Finglas, I was waiting 6 months...

I was the only person in the place for the 2.50 sitting...there was only one tester on after 1.30 that day....

I couldn't believe it...7 empty desks and I like the rest waited over 6 months for the test....

    Still at least I passed!!!

I just passed my test last month thankfully, applied last August (Churchtown) I failed the test once previousley but on both occasions waited (like the less than average individual) for the test to come up without pulling any strings.
I think its testament to this little corrupt country of ours that it is a commonly known fact that if you send in an accompanying cover letter on company headed paper stating that the Licence is needed as part of an employment contract you can get your test within about 2 months.

Well done Minister Brennan keep up the Finna Fail tradition

But.... you can do that. You can state that you need it for work, there nothing hidden there, its on the application form "when applying for a driving test, applicants should submit a version request from their local Motor Taxation Office indicating the need for early driving test appointment. "....
