Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    The Green Button does not Work!

    So no series link etc.

    No FastText "Green" on TV (The TV remote green button works this).

    I have prized the remote abart and used a clean Ink rubber alternately with Isopropanol to clean conductive rubber pad and PCB contact.

    I have left batteries out for hours in case it got "reprogrammed"

    About 2.5 years old. No joy :-(

    Is it visit "Tony" time or is there something I havn't thought of?

    Coincidentally, I got a "Your Batteries are running out" message on the screen today. I thought that was pretty impressive.

    Fire ahead. Just put my name in the credits!.
    I'm doing a new expanded site "soon" with Interactive. Got permission to use the office web server/ SQL etc. (Real web pages not just the static stuff, and of course I can update over LAN. Indigo and Eircom FTP to my ISP based sites is a pain as it only works via Dialup on correct account, Can't update from a different dialup account or ADSL. They have apologised to me for overly limiting security!)

    I'll leave the old pages and add a link on homepages of each section to new site.

    You can pick up a new remote in argos for about 30 - 40 euro. I had to replace mine after the select button fell off.

    God, it has been quite some time since I last visited that site. Glad to see it's still online. You could do with a proper URL though, as that one is hard to remember! (a .tk domain is free, btw! ) ;)

    Been through two "free" domains, inc TK. They expire. I'm going to get a real one..

    Going self hosting on ADSL via virtual Server on the "Works" online server.

    Ideas for a .Net name? (.ie is much more expensive).
    Content Main Sections:
    :: CrossStich Embroidery designs (Wife's online shop)
    :: Satellite
    :: Amatuer Radio
    :: TV, Home Cinema and in House distribution
    :: Guinea Pigs (Cavies)
    :: Digital & Film Still Photography
    :: Video Capture and Edit (Analog, DV, making SVCD)
    :: Programming: SQL, VB6, Modula-2, Lego RCX and PIC Assembler
    :: Electronic Design
    :: DIY (Plumbing, Heating, Electrics, Tiling, Woodwork, Garden Landscape)
    :: Stories
    Unfortunately I can only afford ONE domain name for this lot!

    It's a bit egotistic to put this lot online, but sure that's what the Internet's for!
