How do you add a service to startt when Win Xp does?

Im runnign a Kaillerra server all the time and want it to run all the time and not display in a dos box.

So getting it to run with windows would be ideal.

Cant seem to add a service so any other way or maybe someone knows a way to add on?

(it be on wifes pc so can try stuff :D )

a kind basic way would be to stuff a shortcut to it in the startup folder in start menu. Along with the office startup etc

    hope this helps

I came across a utility a wee while back that would allow you to run any program as a service. Try googling for "run any program as a service" and it'll probably be near the top of the list.

I came across a utility called "srvany" on the NT Resource Kit disc. It's 13k, the readme is 29k. Added in a file called "srvinstw.exe" which looks like it might be useful. Don't know diddly about it TBH.

    Attached.

    Alternatively, have a look here
