Chorus price increase for more channels

    I thought I read here a while back that when chorus notified customers last year of price increase for its analogue/cable service in the Meath area it was on the back of more channels,better customer service:D (that one kept me laughing for a day or two).IF this is correct what extra channels are they

    sorry to disappoint you but that was the original idea of the price increase agreed with the former odtr regluator but the good people at chorus have decided "as they are no longer a monopoly" that agreement is null and void so they can increase their price without any approval or extra channels. if you contact comreg they will tell you they are currently investigating the matter. no outcome of it yet though
