can anyone think of some games i could play over a lan with a P1 233mmx and 96Mb ram. Whopping 2mb Vram!

running GTA at the mo, can you think of any other old games that might do the job?

Stick a pair of voodoo2s in that and you can play Quake, Quake 2, Tribes, Half-Life, Starcraft, Total Annihilation etc *trys to think of other games we played at lan partys back in '98*

Doom would be cool, im on 2k on both machines though

iv had probs with quake I on 2k, is there a patch?

use jdoom if your using win2k. the best win32 port of the doom engine.

use winquake or glquake and there should be no trouble.

If you get a voodoo 2 for it you may even get away with UT!

Duke3d rules, what with the time detonated pipe bombs. Also Descent is great if a little hard to get used to (360 degree movement).

Failing that Glminesweeper is a lot of fun.

blood can be a good laugh (that was back in the day before i discovered wasd & mouse aiming tho)

it might run soldat, quake is pretty essential, mech commander, atomic bomberman, aoe2, total annihilation (i've been playing a few skirmish's in that recently:) )...
that's all i can think of now.
can't remember if the multiplayer in carmageddon was any good, i have a vauge memory of it being pretty dissapointing

so is there a util or patch to run duke nukem under 2k?

There was also a prequal to laser squad nemisis called X-com email which came bundled with the first 4 x-com games which had a lan option

looking at those specs again i got a feeling you should be able to play Delta Force Age of Empires and Alpha Centuri.
