DVD-R or DVD+R which one?

lo all, 2 questions, 1) Which format do people think will win DVD-R or DVD+R and why? 2) What is the best DVD recorder for that format (pref. region free)?

My first DVD+RW was €660 + VAT late 2001

It is still going very strong - as it should do for many years to come. Great for transporting data from work (ADSL) to home and also for backup. My last hard drive change took just over 1 hour: backup OS partition from old drive onto bootable DVD+RW (40 mins), swapping HDD master + slave settings physically between the old and the new drive, booting from DVD+RW and restoring OS (15 mins) to new HDD, et voila!

Which do u think will win even do i think ure a little biased lol
