Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

UK FTV cards & the BBC Unencrypting...

Some people here wonder if the Free To View Card scheme will end when the BBC removes it's Videoguard encryption...

    ...the answer is no. Why?

Because under UK law, the five terrestial broadcasters must allow free access to their services on any platform they provide for. This is why the scheme existed in the first place - it is illegal for them to only be a part of a Sky subscription on Digital Satellite in the UK, unlike the Republic where you have to be a Sky subscriber to watch RTÉ.

So from June, the FTV card scheme WILL continue for ITV, Channel 4 and Five.
