    Does anyone have or know where to get some well-written English essays for the composition section on the English paper? I need some inspiration to get the creative juices flowing.

    Check out A.C. Clarke, who has written many short stories on sci-fi...many beauties there....

    Have you looked at the Student Plus magazines? They have a fairly good english section tellling you all about the technique and style of writing you need for the exam - with quite a few examples.

    I remember my english teacher showed us an essay from one of the Student Plus magazines. He said "Now here is an example of a "perfect essay"" when he's finished reading it we ask him who wrote it and he says "I wrote it". Oh the humor

    this got me a B2 in the LC last year.

    pity my English teacher wasn't marking it...would have gotten a A.

    I have a few more I used during the year if you wanna see them.
