'Tis another great Spacey vehicle. Great story, superb acting by everyone, amazing soundtrack (sounds like a 100 piece orchestra in places), and not to forget the 'T' word. :)

After "Ordinary Decent Criminal" - I lokk at Kevin Spacey with a little apprehension.

Is David Gale not another death row film - I saw the Clint Eastwood one on TG4 recently.

The Shanon Stone one was on too over the weekend.]

"Another death row movie". Is that a bad thing?

For me, it beats the hell out of a buddy movie, or a post-scream horror movie, or an american pie teen sex comedy, or anything with Tom Green in it....

Just home from seeing it now. Absolutely brilliant. Spacey is one of my favourite actors at the moment. Something about his style, perhaps its that he never tries too hard, or doesn't get in your face too much with his acting. I dunno.

    Anyway fantastic film.

And on the subject of death row films:
is it just me or do they ALWAYS end up dead? David Gale, The Green Mile, Dead Man Walking...

Spacey was great in every film he was in, look at American Beuty or Usual Suspects for his best two.

I saw Alan Parker interviewed this morning about the movie. He says its not a "Death Row" movie. Its a thriller that uses Death Row as an instrument to tell a story.
