    quick querie - i've got a 3 button mouse, and it works fine in NT & linux, but 95/98 just REFUSES to use it... any ideas?

    (apart from switch to linux :)

    I know it sounds a bit thick and obvious but a 3 button mouse wont work with all 3 buttons in Quake unless you have all the proper drivers. If so put them into ure autoexec.bat

    My Mouse (ICE mouse) only works in 3 button mode
    if you hold down a mouse button while the machine
    is booting and the mouse driver loading. Check
    your docs, might be something like that in there
    for yours.
