Miles Per Tank ?

How many miles do you get out of the tank of your car ? My car: Rover Metro 1.1s Fill Cost: €25 Average distance per tank: 180 miles. I think this is crap mileage, I want what are other people's costs. slaanesh.

tank size : 80 litres
42 MPG
It will do about 400 miles on a full tank.
It costs €60 to fill the tank.

BMW 325 TDS 2.5 Turbo intercooler diesel (Just turned the 180K mile mark and rising fast....)

Tank capacity 55 Litres

Travelling longish trips not faster than 55 mph i get 43 mpg

Short trips, hard acceleration drops to 35 mpg

Diesel cost at mo 81c

55 litre fill would cost €44.55

Range (max) 520 miles

(But i never go lower than a quarter of a tank)

€65 for just over 300 miles - 85% urban, 10% M50, 5% other open roads, driving the car hard 5%, not hard 95%
