"Default Posts per Thread" is broken

I have my "Default Posts per Thread" set to 40 posts per page.
However when I click on a thread, there are only 20 posts per page.

This is happening on all boards...

Found the problem. It's to do with the new linking method. For instance

http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/t87655-20-2.html

goes to the second page, with 20 posts per page, whereas:

http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/t87655-40-2.html

would go to the second page, with 40 posts per page.

This is a big problem, because all the links are defaulting to 20 posts per page, instead of taking the number of posts per page from the cookies.

This is very annoying because a board's threads page take the number of pages from the cookies - so if you see
( 1 2 3 ) at the end of a thread title and click "3", you'll actually only end up have way through the thread, instead of being on the last page (assuming your default post per thread is set to 40)

I have my options set so that each page contains 40 posts but at the moment the forum view shows a thread having say two pages but when I click on the thread it goes back to showing the default number of posts per page.

So page two would be the last page but when I go into it it's the second of five.
