you do realise that there was a garage band from the 60's called the Spiders (the Alice Cooper band before they were Alice Cooper).

Just thought I'd let ye know if ye didn't already

I knew that. But the fact is no one has really put the name to good use. And I'm also aware of Bowie's band 'The Spiders from Mars'. But that was all concept. Anyways, I bought thespiders.com, you can't get more official than that. Thanks anyway Mr.Ramone.
