    a friend of mine wants to set up a web cam so that it is Online line all the time I would be right in saying that he will need a DSL / Lease line conx and a static IP

    Is there any other info you know so that I can tell him.

    static ip is a must. A fats connection will be needed too as well a provider with no cap bandwidth.

    Esat might suit him if they give out static ips i am not sure if they do.
