    I've seen PC World and Dixons stock these for approx €50. Daylight robbery.

    Peats stock them for €30. See here

    pick up any of the non-official PS2 link cables,
    these are firewire/ilink/IEEE1394 cables by a different name

    Friend of mine once bought a firewire cable from some shop in Galway for €50!!!!

    Its in ebay, anywhere btw 4 and 14 euros! (My friend bought his second one on eBay for $7. :o) )

    I am very grateful for your help. The original message detailed more specs. of what i need:

    - 4pin to 4pin
    - under 30euro.

    Reasoning:

    DV Cam to laptop (laptop has a "minifirewire" port... looks like a 4pin firewire to li'l ol' me)
    I've seen the cable for half the price in other countries (And regret not getting it now )
