    PUBLIC ENEMY
    (full live show)

+ Messiah J & The Expert (Creative Controle)

    Vicar St.

    Sat 12th April. Doors 7pm.

Rap legends PUBLIC ENEMY have announced that their show at Vicar St on Sat 12th April - their first show in Ireland in three years – will be the first time they bring a full live band to Ireland. Featuring live bass, guitars and drums as well as the usual hiphop decks and effects and super-tight rapping; this will feature up to nine members onstage for what is set to be one the best concerts of 2003.

Anyone who saw either of PUBLIC ENEMY’s incendiary 3-hours-plus shows at Redbox in 2000 can testify to the pure value-for-money that one of the most globally-influential acts of the late 20th Century provide. This show will include the core members of PUBLIC ENEMY – Chuck D, Flavor Flav, Professor Griff, Lord Aswad and the SW1’s – who will run through all the classic tracks they have released over the last 16 years right up to the recent Revolverlution album.

Support comes Dublin’s ever-excellent Messiah J & The Expert who, having recently had to change their name from Creative Controle; will be playing tracks from the eagerly-awaited forthcoming debut album.
