sound speed?

i think this goes here! the sound from my work PC is comming out speeded up when i try to listen to mp3's its like alvin, simon and teadore are singing! any one know of this happening to them or any one else?? any help would be helpful

I found this happens when your using the integrated sound on an itel motherboard.

If you are using 2000 or XP, and run windows update, one of the updates should fix it. (i cant remember which one) .

Do you use winamp? i think some of the plugins can do that

no saruman i dont use winamp, ill try that update thingie and let cha know how i get on!
