I hate more or less all nu-metal music Ive heard, except for one song, Prayer by Disturbed, brilliant song, 1 good song out of thousands.
All folks on here are bound to like at least ONE nu-metal song, so cmon, dont be shy :)

I liked "My last seranade" By Killswitch Engage for a while.

All other Nu-Metal is just so bad.

Disturbed's stuff is all the same...

'Listen' by Downthesun. Its a really cool ballad. And about the only song in the entire world I can actually sing.
I didn't really like 'Prayer' by disturbed. Preferred 'Voices' actually.

Nu metal is a stupid term to place on any band anyway. take it on a band by band basis. If the music is good who gives a ****e if some dope has labeled it "Nu Metal" even the spelling annoys me, there are plenty of excellent bands out there at the moment who could be branded with the same iron as limp bizkit or linkin park. Linkin and bizkit are basically pop to me, same goes for what is called "punk" these days, good charlote, sum41 blink doesnt matter what its called once its good (and i dont think those bands are good btw;) )
Think of some of the "old school" band that if they came out now would be branded

I love TEST (I guess that's the title) by Nothern Irish SUPERSKIN, ever heard it?

True that the term "Nu Metal" has been used to define any kind of ****e, however there is some good stuff. What I hate are all those rapped verses, pointless samples, turn tables, etc. for a total of 15 people on stage...

    Early KORN were cool

Here to Stay by Korn. I think its the last "nu-metal" song i'll ever hear that actually has a pair of balls. Anything ive heard recently has a massive clit and quite frankly loves the cock.

I hope System of a Down counts as nu-metal, cos that's nearly the only recent song I really like...

There we have the problem with nu metal...

Who is exactly nu metal? is it rap-rock combos or is it the new breed of mainstream metal artists?

    Tis a conundrum.

    My choice:

Deftones - Be Quiet and Drive

If they count as nu metal

The best Nu-metal track I've heard lately is that is-it-heavy-or-is-it-a-weepie song 'Bring me back to life' by Evanescence. The one with the bird hanging off the window ledge in the video - Kerrap TV shows it now and again.
