Gigsmart Compilation 2 Update

    First off ,
    Apologies if this is viewed as Spam, some users have been unable to access our own boards due to tech difficulties. This is an update on the Gigsmart Compilation Disc that we will be releasing in early June.


    Confirmed Bands that will be on the disc are as follows

    Mike Got Spiked
    Ginseng
    Al Capone Suite
    Otranome
    Murder of Crowes
    Pinion
    Polar

    Still Awaiting Submission/ Still being considered / Quality issues / Lack of Gigsmartness other misc reasons for not be directly put on.

    Anyone can contact Trev Tom or Niall if you want to have a chat ...please be reasonable no 2 o clock in the morning drunk phone calls if you please!!

    As you can see some are confirmed with some more considerations to be made to make up the complete and final list. At this point we would like to thank those of you who have made extra effort to play and attend gigs, to do some of the grunt work and for generally being very cooperative and enthusiastic !! Mucho thank yous

    The final list will be posted on the gigsmartireland.com site on Friday the 11th of April.

    The first draft of the tracklist will be considered by Niall Trev & Tom on Saturday 12th , the track list will be posted on Monday the 14th. Comments will be taken on board. The final decision is final, no "web board spats" will be entertained if you have an opinion we feel everyone has had and will have ample opportunity to express their views at any Gigsmart gig.

    The first mastered copy will be submitted to each band by May 20th at which time production issues can be discussed. Other members of the community will issued with copies of the first master for opinions, these will be held in confidence. The target national release date will be around the 8th of june, label / distribution details will be release one week prior to release. Launch celebration dates will relaesed with full line ups two weeks before release

    At this point we are satisfied that we have enough good quality material to proceed but have not excluded the possibility of including new bands that are aligned with our goals and objectives and of course we want the best tracks we can get for the disc also .....so there's 13 days left to submit discs and then its to the production schedule.!!


    All the best and thanks for all the input and assistance over the course of the last month or so , still a chunk of work to do , but the plans are in place the stars are aligned and all will be in balance in the Cosmos come the release day!
