How do you like your bacon?

I like it grilled and crispy, nice and dark. But unfortunately it takes too long to grill so I have to go with fried impatience.

Ack, you British Isles types and your burned meat fetishes. How can you have a proper bacon butty if the rasher is all dry and brittle and not yummy and chewy? Lick the inside of a chimberly, why don't ye.

I don't eat very much red meat, but I do like bacon if it is hot and crispy. I think I eat it weird. First I pick out all the dark red spots and leave out the pasty white fatty part then I eat the red. Yes, it does take me forever to eat one piece of bacon, but for me it is the only way to eat it and it worth it in the end.

I like them grilled and chewy - but not too soft and undercooked. Basicaly the fine balace between undercooked and overcooked. If ya burn them you lose the taste. don't cook them enough and you'll get salmonella or something:eek:

With Mushrooms and beans as well, oh and a bit of tomato.

But the bacon must be fried till it's just crispy. Grilled bacon is just wrong.

I like it lightly grilled with cheese on an oatcake! Trouble is you can't get oatcakes over here, or does somebody know better?:p
