Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    I have an old Pace mms 500 with 2 dishes that I bought in 1996 ish/? I went through linksats site and al jazeera seem to be broadcasting on 12111 V in dvb...so will I need a new reciever to pick this up? I'm on one of the hotbirds at the moment with BBC World, TV Polonia and RAI Une etc.

    You have an analogue receiver.. the broadcast you are trying to view is in digital (DVB)..

    You'll need a digital reciever to get it.. I can see it clearly on my sky digibox in other channels with with my minidish pointed at the Hotbird satellite.

    Alternatively,, if you have sky digital, just ring the on screen number and they will switch it on for the month, for whatever fee they charge ( can't be too much ).
    You can ask for to switch it off at any time and you stop paying, assuming it operates like the other stand alones.
    It used be simpler, in that it was on a standard sky sub.

    It's all in Arabic, at least the version on sky any how, so maybe an investment in a linguafone course also is required.

    ok...are there any off the shelf digital receivers you would recommend besides sky ones?
