I think this site will be of interest to anybody looking to get into the games industry in Ireland.

There is a talent directory where people can post information on their skills where companies can look and browse for potential new employees.

The website was only launched today and I think it will be a valuable resource to the gowing computer games industry in Ireland.

A representative from the site came in to this college last week and spoke to a few of us, and I'm happy to say she was impressed with our work.

I know that there is loads of talent on this board and I have also noticed quite a slowdown in activity on this board. We have to get more people interested in games development in Ireland. Even the Irish government is trying to boost interest in the games industry in Ireland. Ireland recently sent three government reps to Australia to see how their games industry operates and what level of government support is required.

Currently there is only 2 games companies in Ireland that i know of (Torc Interactive http://www.torcinteractive.com/ and Kapooki http://www.kapookigames.com/) and soon there will be a brand new Irish one (we hope :) ).

Anyway, people, stick your info up there if you want to get into games design or form a company. The site has loads of info for setting up a games company.

Btw i'll post up some new screenies of my max stuff soon :)
