Is there any way to trim frames from .dem's, ie reduce the framerate, without losing much quality.

Got a problem w/ recording 30/40 min demos at 40/50 fps and the files are absolutely huge.
we've had some good games on the cafe lan here, but the filesize (ie up to 17 megs) makes it impossible to even consider saving them to floppy or mailing them.

    Trojan.

You cant trim demos as far as I know.
Trimming frames wouldnt work as the
demo only stores the player information
    and builds the rest itself.
Any way whos going to wade through
    a 40 minute demo.
If you only want to show the exciting or
funny bits you can try making a movie out of it.
Greenbeans page has all the stuff youll need
