    What's the official title of the current war campaign in Iraq, e.g. Desert Storm II, Operation Kick Ass, etc.?

    I've seen it called "Operation Iraqi Freedom", but I think the "official title" is "Operation Enduring Freedom".

    I just call it Gulf War II or else you can use Michael Moores name for it, "Operation Oily Residue".

    LOL - very quaint. If Enduring Freedom is the name of the IRaq operation, what was the name of the brutality that went on in Afghanistan (no not the Taliban lol, I mean America and her bedbuddies)

    Operation Iraqi Freedom is the campaign in Iraq.

    Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) is the (ongoing - bombing yesterday / today) campaign in Afghanistan.

    Operation Southern Watch (OSW) was(?) the mission that enforced the coalition imposed southern “no-fly zone” over Iraq.
