    Afternoon all,
    Just wondering if anyone knows a good way of learning web development for free (any good url's etc.)
    Not really thinking of it as a career, but half thinking of starting a business and would like to put up a site first to test the market etc.

    Ask in the Webmaster board...

    and have a look at sites like www.webmonkey.com and www.builder.com

    now probably isnt the best time to start a web development company (!)

    not actually thinking of starting a web dev company (I know market is ****e at the mo)
    Would like to build a site to do a bit of market research before I go to the trouble of registering co's etc
