http://www.boards.ie/proarcade.php 404'ed on me at the end of Tetris and Hexxagon today. Using Mozilla 1.4a, standard skin on boards.

It hasn't registered my score :(

Not that it was fantastic or anything, but nevertheless...

Thought I saw a thread on this already but couldn't find it.

    It is what it's.

Guys - not to be condescending but - you should never use anything other than IE for java-esque uses. Nothing I ever use is up to it. Sorry. Any Mac users should use IE5 at least for anything on boards unfortunately - (except for simple browsing of course). Java- Javascript is only for IE unfortunately.

It's sites that don't code their code properly which cause problems for Mozilla.

Anyway, Java is Sun's baby. MS ripped it for IE. The Java plugin is made to work with Mozilla etc, and it's the way the applets/embeds are badly written on sites that break stuff for Moz.

I could go on, but I won't 'cos I've made my point

    :)

(PS, Hexxagon is Shockwave is it not?)

    It is what it's.

Actually, in fairness, I do think I was being a bit bitchy and apologise to boards admins. I know you try hard to keep everyone happy ;)

I've played the game somewhere else with the same issue, so it's gotta be FRD.

Other than the arcade, Boards rocks in Mozilla :)

<edit>Stoopid telly ad. gotta be the game object itself.

    It is what it's.

Same thing happens in Netscape 4.7. I reckon it's 'cos the game goes to
    http://www.boards.ie/proarcade.php instead of
    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/proarcade.php
    when it finishes.

    It is what it's.
