Reflections on time in carlow.

I came home to offaly today and I realised that I only have about a month left in carlow and then I'm finished there for good. This may not sound bad but I was sitting in the pub talking to some friends from home and it dawned on me that if I shouted "eviscerate the proletariat" or "mmm, yes, indeed" they probably would not want to talk to me anymore but in carlow this brought the conversation up a notch. Or for another example I cannot sit with a group of people and burst into a rendition of charles in charge, which me JP and cillian seem to be doing a lot of latley, without getting the **** kicked out of me for being odd. I know given a few weeks of life here things will kick back the way they were and life will go on but I reckon everybody will miss carlow IT. The 24 hour shop is another thing, when your in a friends house arseing about until five in the morning watching movies or writing film plots (most of ye wont get that) and then everyone decides to walk the whole way to the 24 hour shop for **** all reason, just for the crack. Anyway to get to the point of this waffel, the easter holidays are here on friday and there is only a week or so of college after that I reckon we should all get together for a good pissup after easter before some of us go our seperate ways and others wait for three months to come back. Kinda like a carlow IT boards beer and a one last pissup thing all combined.
Suggestions for times dates and locations are welcome.
My suggestion is the thursday of the week we come back, about 7PM in the Dinn Ri.

Give JP a case of SPAM, i wrote that post last night and I was wondering what the hell to call it. And I was singing charles in charge and the facts of life in my head over and over. Then something that sounded like the china beach song came on the radion and I started singing that in my head. hence the reflection bit. Im not looking forward to going back to portlaoise and hanging around with the people i did during the leaving cert almost three years ago. They were and still are good friends but i dont think they would understand half the jokes i make. That said i probably would not understand theirs either. Oh well.
All we can do is organise this big piss up and spend from two in the day in the pub drinking like mad before heading our seperate ways on the road to adulthood...

I have only being back in Carlow town once since I left in August, its not even the place I miss that much it's the atmosphere,the life and esp my housemates,

When I came down to carlow first I wanted to go to college to make something of my life and to stop being passed up for jobs I was well able to do but did not have it down on paper. I chose carlow for its rep as a college and because it was not dublin. Dublin is realy expensive (also I would do not work and hang out with my m8's all the time) now I find myself doing what I was trying to avoid but I am loving it.
I came down to carlow and met a great bunch of ppl how r nice and accept ppl for who they are. I mean look at me, as much as a pain of a ass I am they keep talking to me. I must do Ciaran's head in at times (we dont let each other way with anything) and yet he remains a friend.
I will sory miss all u lot when we all split up in a few years and for now Tom, when u come back to Ireland u at min have a place to stay any time no matter what but I asume that there is more that just my offer out there. COME BACK TO US MAN!!!!

of course! there is more than just one offer.....My place is about 15 minutes drive (between 7 - 10 when i drive) from carlow town and theres plenty of room in my bed i mean house for you to crash if needs be!
