eek, man looked at the prices for isdn eher,m wow ! how can u aford it??
in uk isdn has now droped to 99 pounds...
how long till its like that here?
erm about a year:/
how long till u cable modems com out? maybe in dublin.....i mean
thats only 40 pounds, for a month, and no instalation fee! and its a perment connection! and faster then isdn on Dloads...arrgg....can only sit up at night and dream of it...

Not for long, the Government ( If thats what they can be called) have to
finance their little tunnel in Dublin and they're going to use funds
raised from the sell off of Telecom Eireann and its offshoots.

I heard on the news that Telecom Eireann are
planning to sell Cablelink, good news for
all you cable modem hopefuls. Bad news is I
heard it on News Two, so after the article they
asked Liam Gallagher for Oasis what he thought
about the deal. You can imagine what he said,
the tramp. Plus I may have imagined the whole
deal, but probably did actually hear it. Maybe.

EU rules say that other phone companies are allowed in

Ok, while doing some research for a feature on Qamex
(yes I don't just sit down and ramble on on a typewriter you know)
I have had to ring the Head of IT of Cablelink and talked to some
ppl in the government and in Telecom.
I'll be writing up what they told me in my article
which I'll post on Sat (hopefully).

It's pretty tasty , but you'll all just have to wait
