I currently have a nokia 3650, 7110, and 5510. I bought the 7110 and won the rest. I've used loads of phones before and must say that nokia without doubt the best IMHO!

3650 is that the new camera phone?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,226 ✭✭✭stereo_steve

Yep. Its much the same as the 7650 with a couple of improvements. I'm very happy with it!

Nokia 6310. Not a bad phone. Modem etc. Company issue so can't complain. Better than the 6210 which kept turning itself off .

    In use depending on mood:

Siemens C25 (Paid £100 when it first came out on speakeasy)
    Siemens M35 (Free from meteor)
    Nokia 3310 (bought 4 50euro) [+twin sim card cover @15euro]
Motorola Timeport P7389 (Free from my brother)

I think Siemens are the best phone you can buy.
The C25 went through the washing machine at 40^o C
It still works althougt i had to open it and replace the microphone.

Sharp GX10. But only because I got it uber-cheap. In fact, I still haven't paid for it yet :)

Otherwise I'd be using my Sony J7 <---- Best phone evar! And it only cost me €10 brand new. :)

SE P800 for every day use (took the place of a 7650)

SE T68i for personal time / out in the pub :) (took the place of a 8850)

T68i still one of the best little phones out there even though it's been around over a year, even doubles as my MP3 player

Alcatel baby! Alcatel all the way.

What an amazing piece of machinery.

You can throw it across the room full force against a wall and it keeps working no problem.

Ditched my 6210 a couple of weeks ago as the battery had worked itself loose and was prone to powering down for no real reason. I believe this is a common problem, especially when you keep it in your pocket as I do.

Got me an unlocked 5210, the keys are a little on the small side. I haven't operated the thing while drunk yet, for that is the real test.

Nokia 3510. It's a bit big but the battery seems to last forever and it's relatively light for it's size.

Mines a nokia 3310... got given it for nothing so it does the job :)

Also I'm surprised how many people use their atari jaguar for their phone (HW Tweaking/Modding anyone?) :)

I'm currently using a Siemens SL45 ( with mp3 player) but the MMC and the battery went ages ago, I'm lucky to get 6-8 hours out of a full charge, and I don't make that many calls on it.

But there's a Nokia 7250 currently in the post for me, £79.99 (stlg) on upgrade with O2. Really looking forward to getting back to using a decent phone again.

I have the Sony CMD J6 for over 2 years. Great little phone. It's determined to stay alive too.

My phone is the only thing I don't keep upto date

I don't particularly like Nokia's irradiate the brain policy. Even if it's only a myth, it's still kinda scary.

Siemens are too mean to give me a phone, so I don't like them either (stamps feet like big baby) :o

    Motorola Slimline
    Motorola StarTAC
    Siemens c25
    Siemens S25
    Siemens S35i
    Sony J5
    Nokia 8310

Currently a Nokia 6610. Damn nice it is too.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,809 ✭✭✭✭astrofool

    nokia 3210
    siemens m35
    siemens sl45(current)

Older ones have gone to siblings and were still used for a year+

have a siemens sl55 on the way(arrives tomorrow), after using a siemens once, I wouldn't want to go back to a nokia, the nokia ui might be simplistic to use, but a pain to do alot of things with.
