wiping internet memory

    my pc is due to go in to be upgraded on monday and i was wondering can i do anything more to delete my internet files apart from wiping the temp. internet directory.

    (i'm not a paedo, but there are records of *ahem* adult sites on my pc)

    i'd imagine just deleting history + temp. internet files would be enough, if you're paranoid = http://www.windows-sucks.com/content/ms-hidden-files.shtml

    do you think repair man really gives a sh1te ?


    and if you want to keep some pr0nnor, you could crate an encrypted zip file or something

    go to tools, options , content, auto complete then enter the clear forms menu and erase it the do the same for the clear passwords button, this clears all your saved login passwords and your search engine history and they cannot be recovered, protecting your privacy.

    also go to tools,options, general, settings, view objects and delete all in this folder.............................................................

    just for future reference download a copy of window washer or such like, the best is mcafee quickclean but hard to get, used by top criminals to wipe info forever, it uses default 7 sweep (read & write with binary values to make everything unrecoverable)

    true, when I come across it on workstations I just turn a blind eye, unless its kids.
    Once I found 130MB's of porn mpegs in a user's my documents folder :confused: (it was a workstation in a network, not a personal home PC !!)
