    I don't know if this is the right area to ask this but can anyone recomend a simple and free way to comvert wma or wav files to mp3?

    Probably better for the Technology forum, to be honest.

    I've used DB Poweramp before.... does the trick! Hope that helps....

    easy cd-da extractor
    it has 3 different apps, 1 for ripping music from cd's, 1 for burning cd's & 1 for converting filetypes.

    don't let the name put you off, there are plenty of advanced features hidden away

    It's not the best (although that's debatable) and only the very basic version is free. The "plus" version (or the 'version with actual features in it') costs $19.99
