ISDN 128k connection

    Is there any technical reason why Eircom have to charge 2 phone calls for users to connect at 128k?.
    Why not a flat rate always on connection fee like with DSL but obvioulsy lower speeds?.
    Because this attitude of hard luck if your outside the area of DSL coverage seems to suck.

    you are using 2 lines at the same time so you will be charged for 2 calls just lke if you are on the phone and sending a fax at the same time you will be charged.

    Get 1 128k sub acc from your ISP to get cheaper calls

    Know what you fell like m8, I'm out of range of dsl. But flat rate is almost a dead certain for the end of june so I'd expect them to bring some 128k flat rate product out then
