after reading the posts on "Dublins secret railway line" about platform11.org, i continued to read the rest of the site (http://www.platform11.org) and what an eye-opener it was.

i cannot believe that IE management can get away with such a blatant waste of tax payers money, especially when McCreevy and Martin are at loggerheads.

Does McCreeevy even know that irish rail are wasting our money like this? How many medical cards etc. could be had if irish rail were more accountable and efficient with their (our) money?

The biggest and most obviuos case is irish rails willingness to spend €1bn on a tunnel when 1 already exists
