    Board Name: 3D Animation and Art
    Description: Board dedicated to the 3D arts and animations.
    Private Y/N: N

    Basically Theres is only an arts/anim/photo , there is growing interest in teh boards.ie community reguarding 3D arts and animations, with the various mods and what not, in the #boards.ie there have also been people looking for problems or tips to be solved.

    Monty already has a website dedicated to Sci-Fi 3D Art, and the basic use of this board would be to help people and give advice for the various programs.

    It could also give info on courses to choose in the various institutions for 3D Animation and what not.


    Just an idea

    Another forum suggestion would be to split radio with music.


    A single forum for each would make more sense.

    How about renaming the art/anim/photo forum to art/3Dart/anim/3Danim/photo/3Dphoto board? And what about all those 1 dimensional works of art such as quantum singularities?

    nah, wouldnt really work, 3D is quite broad, it has alot to cover, for example, to get the right effects of light throuw water (simple effect) you have to know all bout light reflection and stuff


    if u take a look at the game editing board u'd see the amounts of 3d art going up
    not to mention the mod dazzer is working on in battlefield.

    the board would be for discussing stuff like software
    3d Max,Maya,Huedini lightwave ect.

    also ppl could ask about certain effects and how to's

    also a charter with links to the various sites with tutorials and what not.

    Sure fsckit... just make a LUDO board.

    Oh and the Music/Radio board already died when Rock/Metal was split from it so I don't think it could survive any less postings.

    Don't be so negative :P .

    Why can't the reflection of light in relation to art etc fit into the Art board?
    I think the issues you've coverd in your posts Doodee can be covered with a good ol' sticky or two.

    yes quite possibly, but would they be stickied on the arts so?
    or even Game editing?

    it was just a suggestion. im not really emotional over its creation, but twud be nice :)
