Im looking on starting my Metal T-shirt collection, and cant seem to find any places worth a damn, so anyone who has a good place which sells metal T-shirts (especially: Iron Maiden, In Flames, and power metal bands) post them up here, and hopefulyl Ill have a half decent collection together when I borrow me mum's credit card :)

Assuming you're in Dublin, I think Sound Cellar still do t-shirts (just realised I haven't been in there in two years) , and I've seen some good ones in Comet Records in Temple Bar. I used to buy mine (when I used to wear them) in the Army Surplus shop in Navan, they had Cannibal Corpse t-shirts and EVERYTHING. Damn, I miss that place.

Yeah, the Soundcellar's your best bet.

Anyone remember Our Price on Henry Street in Dublin? Use to have a very good selection of t-shirts if I recall. Sadly bought by Virgin and turned into the usual s**thole.

Well there is Multisound in Cavan which used to be good, but went crap last year. (I got an In Flames tee in there :) ). Another place is Music Choice in Monaghan where ya can get all sorts. There is a place in Newry too as far as I know they can get any t-shirt you want.

Then of course there is Sound Cellar and Asha.

A good on line shop is www.infinity1.com

Crikey yeah, Our Price used to have good t-shirts!! Ahhh, the memories!!

Pugsley, what county are you in? That would help?

Generally I say get your T-shirts at gigs/festivals... You'll save a bit on 'em.
But other than that, soundcellar is the only place.

Only if you're over 18 though, I was refused a Carcass Heartwork t-shirt because Carcass t-shirts were on 'the list' of t-shirts that couldn't be sold to anyone over 18.

Same thing happened when I tried to buy a Cannibal Corpse t-shirt when I was 16. I just turned around, handed my money to a guy behind me, and said 'Get me that t-shirt there, will you please?' They did see the funny side, thankfully.

I live in Fermanagh, but was generally referring to on-line stores, Ill have a look at that on-line 1 pornapster.

go onto the nuclear blast website, they have a good shop - nuclear blast shop

    emp.de is also deadly.

what i did was went onto Google Germany and Sweden/Finland and seached for metal t-shirts i think, didnt save any other addresses, sorry!

both these sites also great for cheap cds, but i just cant say no to the Sound Cellar ;)

That EMP site looks pretty good.

I used to get catalogues from Olympic Designs who used to do those kind of tshirts. Dont' know if they've a website. They were based in Isle of Man, if memory serves me correctly.

If you're ever up round Portrush there's a good shop there called T-Shirt City. I got a kickass Maiden t-shirt in there once. They have a huge selection.

Get to know a roadie. My brother is friends with one, and has gotten a few really good Iron Maiden "On tour" tshirts for free.

Cheap?! I was up there on Saturday and they had a Led Zeppelin t-shirt there for €39. In the Sound Cellar you can get a Morbid Angel/Opeth/Iced Earth/At The Gates t-shirt for €25.

I found the best place ever to buy heavy metal merchandise, was a quaint little place in Amsterdam - cant remember the name of it - but by gawd it had some fantastic shirts - S.T, Morbid Angel, Ozzy, Obituary, Slayer, etc

A standard t-shirt costs 20 yo yos, while an all over print cost you 40

Next time I go back I am bringing and spending a small fortune :)

Yeah it has really gone quite bad. You'll only really find mainstream t-shirts in there now for alot of money.

Asha: fake t-shirts, prices starting at 40 quid that fade and stretch/shrink after approx. 1 wash.

Best place I've seen for t-shirts was Camden, London... back in the days of the punt tho.

Its on Nassau St. close to Grafton St. beside a pizza place. Theres only a small corridor type of entrance to it so it can be easily missed so keep your eyes peeled.

asha in stephen's green have some half decent stuff but most of all, they've a huge variet of sizes unlike most places that reckon if you like metal you automattically WANT an extra large top

that's the point, all metal tops are always massive no matter where you go so it's about time one shop was different
