Ok Firstly I am flying to portugal for a
week from next sat (25th) until the following sat.
This means I wont be able to play any QL games until
the week after. I'll play them all when I get back...

Secondly: Pings. A subject dear to my heart lately :)
I agree that LPBs should have to up their pings
(it would have been better to have an lpb comp but
it's too much extra load on MP for too few people IMHO)

I understand that sub 150 is not allowed (it being the definition
of LPB) but when is that reading taken.
At the start of the game my ping read 60-70. As soon as
the game starts my poor old 120 has a heart attack and
my ping goes to about 120-180. (Aw poor lad you might say!)
Proxies ADD lag. they dont keep the ping steady at a given number.
You tell the proxy to add 50 or 100 to the ping you get.
In my case that means I would have to add about 100 to make my ping
ALWAYS read over 150. but in game terms I would be playing with a ping of
    220-280. OUCH!

Considering that I have seen sub 150 pings lately from
modemers what is to be done? can we have a more explicit
statement about lpbs then "you have to use the proxy to give
    you lag!".

Not a complaint just a forseen irritation mentioned in
    self-interest @:)

    DeVore.

ps: with Ser, Slaan, Dest, MP and Blaster in Group D (for death) I
dont really stand a chance and I could do without any other handicaps ta!
