Of course its not scary by todays standard, as your watching it in the year 2003, but if you have of watched it in the year it was released you would of been scared. Times change and so do peoples tresh hold for whats scary or not. Todays soceity is immune to a hell of a lot more than an adience from the 70's.

    The sequals suck.

Ughhhh I heard this was so scary from a friend but I found it so boring!
Just kept flicking onto different after the first killing, but to be fair in a cinema I could see it being quite freaky and crap especially with the girl on her own.

I thought the very last secquence was very good though

    Extremely over-rated film.

Although, I did find it funny, because basically when Leatherface kills the first few kids when they go into his house, he was perfectly under the law to do it. Only when he chased them outside was he doing anything illeagal.

    Yes...Im sure he was...

In fact he was demanded by law to kill them

not true.....you cant kill som1 even if they brake into your house...specially kids....and specially with a chainsaw,

and its not a gorey film...

As far as I know, Tusky... In many state, you're perfectly in the right if you kill someone who broke into your house.
